Carrie-Anne Moss

CarrieCarrie-Anne Moss was born August 21, 1967 and is a Canadian actress. After early roles on television, she rose to the world stage for her performance as in the role of Trinity in The Matrix series (1999-present). Memento (2000) was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Supporting Role, Red Planet (2000), Chocolat (2000) and Fido (2006). Snow Cake (2006) earned her the Genie Award as Best Performance by an Actress in an Supporting Role. Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) was among her television roles. Moss was living in Spain when she was approached for the role of Tara judge Nicholas Marshall's clerk in the drama series Dark Justice. This was her first television appearance. In 1992, she moved to the set of the show from Barcelona to Los Angeles. Moss was sacked from Dark Justice in the third and final season. She was replaced by Elisa Hingsohn in the role of Samantha Collins. After her return, she was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Pasadena. There, she was a model, and later, she appeared in the Fox soap opera Models Inc. The show was ended July 1, 1995. Matrix the made-in Canada series she was the headliner of the show, was cancelled in July 1995. 3 Throughout the 1990s, she was a part of in several television series including Street Justice, Baywatch, F/X: The Series, and Due South, for which she received a nomination for the Gemini Award for Best Guest actress in Drama. Most of her film roles in the decade were B films, such as Flashfire (1994), The Soft Kill (1994), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996), and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
