Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. She was birthed in Essex on August 28, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
