Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The desire to become an artist was inspired by her upbringing as a member of a New York family of artists. After working as a photographer's assistant She turned her focus to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best box office star in the world in just three films. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv series The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
